StackTeck, Churchill Container Honored by IMDA for Applications Utilizing PureFive® Resin

ORLANDO, Fla. – September 23, 2026, — PureCycle Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCT) announced today that two different products made with its PureFive® resin were recognized among the winners of the 2026 In-Mold Decorating Association (IMDA) Awards Competition. StackTeck Systems earned an Honorable Mention in the Sustainable Use of In-Mold Processes – Design Achievement category for its 6 oz. IML TRIM Cup, and Churchill Container took home the win for Best Use in a Packaging Application of a Prototype Product or In-House Promotion with its “Rockstar Cup.” Both products are made using PureCycle's recycled polypropylene that is suitable for food contact.

The IMDA Awards recognize the year's top applications in in-mold labeling, in-mold decorating and in-mold electronics. This year's winners were revealed at the Plastic Product Decorating Summit, held September 2 in Sugar Land, Texas, with entries judged on design and complexity, integration of the in-mold element, functionality, and innovation in materials and process.

StackTeck's 6 oz. IML TRIM Cup combines the company's Thin Recess Injection Molding (TRIM) technology with 30% PureFive® resin, using ultra-thin panels that cut part weight by 20% compared to conventional designs. The cup is decorated with MCC Verstraete's Ultra Gloss/Matt IML labels and is fully recyclable, pairing a lighter-weight package with the high-impact graphics brand owners look for on shelf.

Churchill Container's Rockstar Cup, meanwhile, was built to showcase what durable, cold-foil IML decoration can do for reusable drinkware. The cup pairs long-lasting visual decoration with 100% recycled polypropylene and an invisible, scannable code that supports reuse tracking without disrupting the design. While the “Rockstar Cup” began as a limited demonstration series, the concept has already found its way into commercial production programs.
